Team Poker Stars has grown again
Once again, PokerStars signed a poker player that has a consistent winning streak and a desire to play the game competitively. Eugene Katchalov screen nameMyrabbiFoo’ has been signed to a PokerStars sponsorship.
Born in Kiev, Ukraine and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Eugene Katchalov has proven that it is possible to rise to the top of your game with humility and hard work. Katchalov is a business school graduate from NYU and has been playing professional poker since he graduated in 2003. Applying his analytical mind to the cards, he’s won millions of dollars over a short period of time. He holds a World Championship of Online Poker bracelet, cashes in the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour. One of the better known highlights of his game was the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $100 thousand High Roller event. There he beat 37 other players and competed heads up against the great Daniel Negreanu, taking home the 1.5 million dollar prize.
Eugene has worked hard to earn his competitive reputation and that hard work has paid off in a big way in the form of the PokerStars sponsorship. As a member of Team PokerStars we can be certain that we’ll see more of Katchlov, online and off, for a long time to come.
