Brian Hastings, overall a big winner for today, lost a large amount to durrrr who was payed off in a big way with a straight. Durrrr received a nice river after going all in on the flop for an 80k pot. I can’t imagine risking 40k in high stakes pot limit omaha on a draw on the flop. These guys are wager large amounts with only draws, hoping to make their opponent fold. They practice the strategy of “bluffing with outs,” winning small pots with big wagers, and having a nice backup plan in case their opponent calls. Durrrr was rewarded for this type of play in this instance.
